“(We need to) bring back the supply chain,” she said. “What happens when we’re not making a critical component part, like a semiconductor. … What happens when those are all made overseas and they’re not making what we need for autos? That’s exactly what’s happening right now. “Part of the bill is putting significant American investment into not only (research and development), but creating the fabrication facilities to make sure those semiconductors are made in America.”
