Roger Simmermaker has written five books on buying American and trade policy since 1996, including three editions of How Americans Can Buy American: The Power of Consumer Patriotism. He also writes ‘Buy American Mention of the Week’ articles for his website HowtoBuyAmerican.com and WND.com. Roger has a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and is a former president of his local Machinists Union (IAM&AW).

Roger grew up in Jacksonville, Illinois, earned his degree in Electronics Engineering Technology in Chicago, and now lives in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and four cats.
