If you asked me what I really want for Mother’s Day, my answer might surprise you: I would absolutely say yes to tickets to a ballgame, enjoying a hot dog, a cold beer and a sunny afternoon at the ballpark. That sounds like a pretty perfect day.
But (if I am being honest) a relaxing day at home might be just as good, if not better. No rushing, no plans to manage, just a full day to slow down and enjoy the little things. Sleeping in. Good coffee. Something comfortable to wear. A little time outside. Maybe a bath. A good glass of wine at the end of the day (a must!).
And if I am going to do all of that, I want the things I am using to feel just as intentional. Thoughtfully made. Built to last. Made here in the United States!
