Tupelo Goods keeps focus on American-made model

Texas-based outdoor furniture brand Tupelo Goods is defying industry trends by keeping its furniture designs and production in the U.S., even as imports account for more than 61% of all furniture sold in the country, a number that continues to rise.

Founded in 2018 by Sara Kenton and Chris Keller, both former Yeti executives, Tupelo’s outdoor furniture, American-made, is a point of pride for the team.

“We are proud to be entirely American made, and our products are made from U.S.-sourced polyethylene resin,” said Kenton. “We design and build everything ourselves in the U.S., and every piece is original, not resold or rebranded from another manufacturer. When you buy from Tupelo you are getting a product that went from idea to reality within our own walls.”
