The light is dying out, at least for American sedans. For a long time, they were the most popular way to ferry your family around in the United States, and every American automaker had at least one sedan on offer. More often than not, companies such as the ones that make up the Detroit Big Three had several to choose from at any given time. However, that’s all changed in recent years.
Recent deaths include the Chevrolet Malibu and Chrysler 300.
