“You are paying so much money buying from the big stores because you think you’re getting a better-quality product,” he said while adding, “You can buy made in the U.S. now for less price.” There is yet another reason to buy American-made furniture from owner Luis Mayser. “Labor in Los Angeles is fair-paid and fair-treated,” he said noting, “When you buy something overseas, you don’t know if it’s child labor.”
