The U.S. Small Business Administration is on tour, focused on putting American manufacturers first.
U.S. Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler alongside Illinois Rep. Darin LaHood (R) visited Rheo Engineering in Peoria, an American-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
The SBA is on a five-state tour this month, promoting products “Made in America,” focused on American manufacturing and reducing regulation of small businesses by expanding access to capital and bringing back blue-collar jobs.
“Most of our competition is based outside the U.S., so it gives us a leg up to have a U.S.-based manufacturing team here building the products we design,” said Robert Herrmann, CEO of Rheo Engineering.
