Ford Motor Co. unveiled a $5.8 billion plan to build twin battery manufacturing plants in Kentucky that will create 5,000 full-time jobs, which will make batteries for electric vehicles such as its new F-150 Lightning truck. Gov. Andy Beshear called it the biggest job-creation announcement in Kentucky’s history.
