Denver-area companies, top executives indicted for selling Chinese forklifts to U.S. government as “Made in America”

Two Denver area companies and the companies’ top executives have been indicted for defrauding the federal government on forklift sales and conspiring to avoid paying correct tariffs on imported forklifts, according to the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ).

The USDOJ said the court documents list Endless Sales Inc., Octane Forklifts, Inc., current executives Brian Firkins and Jeffrey Blasdel, and former executive J.R. Antczak. The documents said they allegedly conspired to import forklifts from China while disguising the Chinese origin of the forklifts.

The USDOJ said documents stated that they allegedly would sell the forklifts to federal government agencies by representing them as being manufactured in the United States.
