As the entire auto industry struggles and GM in particular seeks to reinvent itself, the new GM has started a new website at GMIntervention.com where new CEO Fritz Henderson is soliciting ideas from the car buying public.
As a consumer patriot and a past (and happy) customer of GM and Ford vehicles, my motivation is for GM to reinforce its American image as it reinvests itself.
That's why I've been offering my book How Americans Can Buy American as a promotional giveaway to various GM and Ford dealers to give to each customer that drives on their car lot and buys an American car or truck. Several GM and Ford dealers across the country have taken advantage of this promotion to give away my book and educate the car-buying public. Once these customers read my chapter supporting and defending the American auto industry (Auto Explanations), they're more likely to be repeat customers.
Thousands of books have been sold in bulk to various GM (and Ford) dealers, but GM corporate needs to implement this promotional giveaway strategy nationwide! Auto buyers need to know that GM and Ford still employ more American workers, have more American plants, use more American parts in their vehicles, and pay more taxes to America than the foreign competition. No longer should the import media machine be able to mislead the American car-buying public on the true facts.
Here's where you come in: Go to GMIntervention.com, type in 255 characters or less (including spaces) in the "Tell Fritz" box and send. Don't know what to say? No problem! Here are a few samples you can use: The book "How Americans Can Buy American" by Roger Simmermaker is being used by many GM dealers as a promotional giveaway to customers who buy American cars. They'll become repeat customers after they read the chapter defending the US auto industry.

Use "How Americans Can Buy American" by Roger Simmermaker as a promotional giveaway to each customer who buys an American car. Once they read the "Auto Explanations" chapter defending the US auto industry, they'll be repeat customers for GM dealers. According to www.gmreinvention.com, GM CEO Fritz Henderson has vowed to respond to all messages. I have already sent a similar message to Mr. Henderson, but he has yet to respond, so I'd like your help to make sure he gets the message loud and clear. GM needs to reinforce its American image!
